On Tuesday January 12th, founder Connor Archer traveled down I-95 to visit staff, and a class of 5th graders from a school within RSU #19. Archer made his presentation at the Nokomis Regional High School, in Newport.
Archer shared his story, and the Courageous Steps Project with that group of staff, and students that traveled from around the district area to see Archer say what he had to say.
Archer showed the 'One Word' video that he originally created this past year, and challenged all the schools in RSU #19 to a 'One Word' challenge. Staff and students accepted the challenge, as now different staff members from the different schools in the district will be beginning to create their own 'One Word' video.
Below is some video footage from the RSU #19 Autism group presentation. (VIDEO COMING SOON!)
