The Courageous Steps Project has several events coming up in March. We want to remind anyone that has not placed an order through our Thirty One fundraiser, to do so. You have until 9:00pm TOMORROW night to do so. On Tuesday March 7th, join The Courageous Steps Project from 4pm to 8pm for a benefit dinner at Governor's Restaurant in Old Town. 10% of proceeds from take-out meals and in-restaurant meals during that time period, will be donated back to our organization. All proceeds from our product sales and raffle sales will go into our scholarship fund, which helps graduating high school seniors in Eastern Maine.
On Saturday March 11th, join us at Orono High School from 9am to 4pm for our 1st annual Unified Basketball fun-day. 5 to 6 Unified Basketball teams will be joining us for six games. Concessions, raffles, and product sales will be available throughout the day. Admissions are FREE for senior citizens, $3.00 for students, $5.00 for adults, and $10.00 for families.
We have many opportunities for you to get involved, and we hope you consider helping us by showing your support at one, two, or all three of these events that we have either going on or coming up.

1st annual Courageous Steps Unified Basketball Fun-Day planning update...final details to be announced in late February
The Courageous Steps Project is proud to announce that it's first annual Unified Basketball fun-day event planning is underway.
Brewer High School, Hermon High School, Mattawanacook Academy, Mount Desert Island High School, Nokomis Regional High School, and Orono High School will be joining us on Saturday March 11th.
Admission will be FREE for seniors, $3.00 for students, $5.00 for adults, and $10.00 for families.
We will have a raffle going on out front with a variety of items. We will also have T-shirts, and stress balls for sale.
Concessions will also be available, brought to you by the Orono Booster Club.
We would like to thank Milligan's Landing for being our top sponsor of this year's event, and our other sponsors: First National Bank, Beal College, and Bangor Savings Bank. We would also like to thank the countless volunteers that we have, that are helping put this event together.

The Courageous Steps Project is announcing that it will host a catalog fundraiser with Thirty One starting on February 12th and running through February 22nd. 20% of proceeds will benefit Courageous Steps endeavors. 25% of proceeds will benefit Courageous Steps endeavors after $600 is spent.
