About Us
The Courageous Steps Project was founded by Connor Archer in 2014, when he revealed his story of learning to live with the challenges of Autism, a disorder that impacts your language and social skills.
The Courageous Steps Project, is a non-profit organization under section 501(c)3 of the internal revenue code. This will help The Courageous Steps Project to continue to grow all of it's initiatives in the future. Our organization's mission strives to support children and young adults with various abilities and challenges and channels resources to enhance their success in school and in life. Our vision is to work to help people of various abilities to step courageously beyond obstacles and towards a fulfilling life. The Courageous Steps Project, since 2014, has supported 36+ programs in Eastern Maine, involved 1,000+ individuals in an awareness campaign continuing to strengthen, and donated boxes of school supplies to nearly 3 dozen schools in Eastern Maine. These are only some of the incredible accomplishments that The Courageous Steps Project is proud of. With your support, we can continue to build on our initiatives of sensory learning, charitable giving, our scholarship fund, our Wishlist initiative, and our back-to-school drive campaign. With your support, we can continue to build the awareness of developmental challenges in our local communities. A sincere thanks comes from the founder & Chairman/CEO Connor Archer, and the Courageous Steps Board of Directors for their ongoing efforts to growing The Courageous Steps Project. |
