Business Operations Manager:
The Courageous Steps Project is looking for a qualified, organized individual to assist with the everyday business tasks of our non-profit organization. It's an exciting time to join our organization's team as we aim to scale our efforts and make an impact all over Maine. This position will be responsible for our day-to-day business operations including but not limited to:
• Supervise clerical staff and other employees;
• Design work schedules and organize employee training;
• Resolve employee and client issues;
• Ensure the work facility is safe, free of security issues and in compliance with all government regulations;
• Work with outside vendors to maintain necessary business supplies;
• Maintain a good working relationship with executives and other directors; and
• Design and implement procedures to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Experience / Skills Required:
Preferred:
• Experience in billing using various different services under MaineCare and Child Development Services;
• Experience working in youth organizations; and
• Experience with technology systems.

Experience / Skills Required:
- Excellent communication skills, including writing, public speaking and interpersonal communication
- Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Good goal-setting, strategic planning and motivation skills
- Superior presentation and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of/ and or experience with MaineCare preferred.
- Associates/Bachelors preferred.
- 5+ years of experience required
