Old Town Elementary School teachers April Poulsen, and Lesile Johnson-Wright received a Wishlist donation from The Courageous Steps Project on Monday August 28th.
The donation allowed them to purchase sensory seating for their classrooms creating a sensory area, allowing children to sit on them and read, do homework, or do an in-class activity.
They are the first teachers to receive a Wishlist donation from Old Town Elementary School. This is the 9th Wishlist donation this year. That’s nearly tripled from last year’s total.
