Final touches on 4th annual Courageous Steps Walk-Run taking place for Sunday May 21st; pre-registration is encouraged
The Courageous Steps Project is finalizing details for our 4th annual walk-run in honor of Dylan McInnis on Sunday May 21st, at Old Town High School’s Victory Field.
Right now it looks like we will be party sunny in the mid to upper 60’s for next weekend. We may see a few showers but we are still a week out.
Many individuals and families have registered already, and we expect more to be mailed in this week.
These following teams have registered for our 4th annual event on Sunday May 21st so far: Green House Nursery School, Orono-Old Town Kiwanis, Vafiades, Brountas & Kominsky (2 teams), University Credit Union, Brewer School Department, Verizon Wireless, Orono School System, Veazie Community School, and Leonard Middle School. We have several teams that are currently forming as well.
We would also like to thank our top sponsors for their contribution to making this event possible: Spectrum Medical Group, Beal College, Casella Waste Systems, Dead River Company, Van Syckle Kia, and Old Town Rotary Club.
We will provide more details later in the week in regards to format of the event, and some of the amenities that will be available.
If you want to register for our event, please visit our walk-run section of our website to find the individual/family registration form, or the team registration form.
