About 'One Word' Challenge
The Courageous Steps Project's 'One Word' Challenge campaign started in 2015, after the Veazie Community School accepted the first 'One Word' Challenge. Since November 2015, five schools, and two other organizations have accepted and/or completed their 'One Word' Challenge videos. 'One Word' has continued to build stronger communities, from the original 'One Word' Project video, to now, this 'One Word' Challenge.
The 'One Word' Challenge continues to create new opportunities for The Courageous Steps Project, in hopes to provide school special education and unified basketball programs with funds to build their own programs, because of their participation with the 'One Word' Challenge.

Suggested Donations
Suggested donations are encouraged for schools and groups who can contribute to The Courageous Steps Project who participate in the One Word Challenge. Donations can be made online through our website under the Donate Now tab.
Examples of suggested donations include:
• $1 per student x number of students = total amount donated
