Youth Volunteer Adventure Club
Overview
The Youth Volunteer Adventure Club has been created to encourage children that live with developmental challenges, to volunteer through our organization. By creating this program, we hope to strengthen our support base with children that live with developmental challenges. To be on this volunteer club through The Courageous Steps Project, you just have to be old enough to ask for a ride.
The Youth Volunteer Adventure Club will help The Courageous Steps Project with the following:
1.) Recruiting participants for events that The Courageous Steps Project fundraising committee plans.
2.) Brainstorming potential ideas to bring to the fundraising committee or CEO for approval.
3.) Volunteering at Courageous Steps fundraising events
4.) Community Activities such as our Back-To-School Drive, and other community initiatives
Commitment
Members do not need to participate in physical meetings. Members can organize virtual meetings through social media, or simply meet at events. This club is very loose and will be supervised a board member or a fundraising committee member.
Location
If you are physically out of state, you can still participate in the Kids Volunteer Club through social media. Donations are welcomed and encouraged by The Courageous Steps Project.
Acknowledgement
All volunteer club members will be acknowledged at events, and on our website. Some volunteer club members, with permission, will be recognized on our Facebook page and other social media pages.
