Message from founder & CEO Connor Archer Tonight, I am proud to announce this change to our 4th annual walk-run event for Sunday May 21st, 2017. From this date forward, the Courageous Steps Walk-Run will be named after our friend Dylan McInnis. Dylan, an individual who has touched so many in our community, continues to remind us all of the steps of courage he took. A sincere thanks goes to Dylan's family for accepting our proposal to rename our event, and we look forward to honoring Dylan, and his family, at this year's event. If anyone has any questions about this change, please feel free to email me at: [email protected]. As you can suspect, founder & CEO Connor Archer, has been busy the past couple of weeks, making sure everything is flowing smoothly with 2017 so far. The Courageous Steps Project's founder & CEO visited the Tremont Consolidated School, in Tremont, which is associated with the Mount Desert Island Administrative School District. Archer was the main keynote speaker for their annual Special Needs Awareness Fair, which is hosted by the Tremont Consolidated School's Parent Teacher Organization. Archer's words of wisdom, brought educators and students to tears of inspiration, as he talks about the significance of people in his life, and in The Courageous Steps Project. Board member, Jessica Archer, joined Connor in the keynote presentation. During that day, Connor also released the organization's ninth 'One Word' Challenge production. You can view that here: https://youtu.be/5_xbrgETmkk.
